Crystal Deodorant
I decided to buy the travel size as a test round and I also prefer the smaller size when I go to the gym or travel. You can find it at Planet Organic, As Nature Intended and Holland & Barrett (and I'm sure in more places).

Crystal DeodorantA crystal deodorant is a natural mineral salt and will kill the bacterias that cause bad odor. You need the crystal or your skin to be a bit damp and then use as a normal deodorant. Just remember to dry the crystal after you've used it and it can last for months.

Bamboo ToothbrushSo, I have now swapped my toothbrush to one made from bamboo. And the best thing? It's compostable! I'm really happy with my choice of getting a natural toothbrush instead of a plastic one and I feel better knowing that my decision has a little less impact on the environment.
I bought a 4-pack of Brush with Bamboo toothbrushes from here. - Elin OrganicSome days you need a nice breakfast. Biona Organic rye bread, avocado, poached egg and green tea.
Earl grey and LavenderLavender, relaxing and soothing and the HURRAW lip balm with a scent of earl grey. Never really liked scented lip balms. Especially not sweet or fruity scents, so tried to find one with a natural scent.
Essential oil from Neal's Yard HURRAW lip balm from Planet Organic, also seen it at As Nature Intended (probably in more places as well) Organic CottonMy favourite shirt comes from MUJI and is in 100 % Organic Cotton. The model comes i several different colours. A blue and a white hangs in my wardrobe. The hat is from H&M's Denim Conscious collection and is also in 100 % Organic Cotton and I really wish it would come in a grey colour too!
I've started buying basic pieces in sustainable materials to get my wardrobe more timeless and it has actually made me like my wardrobe more now when my clothes are in natural colours and classic shapes. Eco-Friendly in the kitchenAfter a short visit to Sweden these three items jumped straight down in the luggage. A kitchen towel in organic cotton, a wooden dish brush and a reusable dishcloth. The dishcloth is machine washable and the price is around £10 but it will save you money buying new dishcloths regularly.
Our favourite shopWe made a visit to our favourite shop in Shoreditch, As Nature Intended. They have things from meat and vegetables to skincare and deserts.
For me, I needed a new deodorant as mine (full with aluminum) is almost empty so it is time to go aluminum free! Goji berries and chamomile tea. |
